Safer Internet Day Competition

Safer Internet Day was celebrated globally on 11th February 2020 under the theme Together For A Better Internet.

The focus at Chase Bridge was fake news and the impact it can have. We also looked at how easily it can spread and thought about tips to keep ourselves safe on the Internet.

But we want to hear from you and are launching a Safer Internet Day competition to raise awareness of how you can keep yourself safe online.

How To Enter

We want you to create something to raise awareness of how to keep yourself safe on the Internet.

It could be:

  • a poster
  • a video
  • a booklet or magazine
  • a comic
  • a song

Whatever you feel will grab people’s attention and help them stay safe on the web.

Remember to include tips on how to stay safe. This could be how to be aware of fake news, staying safe on social media, staying safe with games or general internet safety tips.

All entries must be submitted Wednesday 26th February which gives you half term to create your campaign. Please give them to Mrs Major in 3M or email them to info@chasebridge.richmond.sch.uk

The winning creation will be shared here and on the school’s social media accounts.

We can’t wait to see what you create!

What are your internet safety tips? Let us know in the comments.

  2. In assembly everyone fell for the trick that school might be cut down to four days. I didn’t fall for the trick because I read it and spotted that it said fake news. Also I saw that the writing said Mr Fullerman and I know that he’s from the book Tom Gates.
