2020 New Year’s Resolutions

As part of are new year (and decade!) children and teachers have been asked to make a new year’s resolution. This means giving up something not very good for you or maybe starting something better for yourself. Some examples are cutting down on sweet things, tidying your room or getting more exercise. This is a new year’s resolution.

We spoke to adults and children around the school to find out what their New Year’s Resolutions for 2020 would be.

Year 5 were thinking about being charitable and more active with their resolutions.

Miss Brown in 5B says her New Year’s resolution for 2020 is to raise money for the RSPCA and other animal charities. While Alice’s in 5B is to go swimming more and Evie’sB is to wake up earlier.

There were more resolutions to keep fit in 4K with Charis telling us that she wanted to be more sporty. Duncan was thinking of relaxing by making the resolution to have a bath everyday.

What are your New Year’s Resolutions? Let us know in the comments below.

  1. I wanted to learn how to do a half twist in gymnastics. And it came true because I kept practising on the trampoline. I can land it pretty well. I hope everyone else’s come true as well.
