Are you excited about bonfire night on 5th November?
Although it’s all very exciting, it can also be a very dangerous experience. So how can you keep safe?
When asked this question, Jasmine, 5W, replied, “Make sure if you’re holding a sparkler, be very careful as you don’t want to end up as human toast!”
Jessica, 5W, answered to the same question, “Don’t stand too close to a firework, as it might set off at any moment. Make sure you are supervised by an adult at all times.”
Hasan, also 5W, said, “to stay safe during a firework display, you must stay behind the yellow line at all times so you don’t get an electric shock.”
Some other children from 5W talked about how excited they were about Bonfire Night:
Annabel said, “I’m excited to see all the colours in the sky. I’m also very excited because on Bonfire Night, we usually have a barbeque.”
Senal said, “It’s very exciting because you get to light the fireworks and see a variety of colours in the sky.”
So, kids, have fun, be careful and, as Jasmine said, don’t end up as human toast!
So, are you excited about Bonfire Night? Don’t forget to keep safe! ;D

My neigh bough has a pet dog and they used fireworks so I think they kept the dog indoors so it won’t be frightened.

yes, pet owners will have to do that as animals are scared of the loud, sudden bangs.

I don’t need this information since i don’t celebrate Bonfire night but I think this is very helpful for people who do celebrate that. Also I like the end note of the blog. Very funny.
