Meet the Teacher with Mr Ostro

Mr Ostro is the deputy head teacher of our school, here is a bit about him.

What are your favourite topics?

I’m have  one from every year,

Nursery: “New Beginnings, Reception: “Space,” Year 1: “Antarctic Journeys,” Year 2: “Historical Heroes,” Year 3: “Ancient Egyptians,” Year 4: “Romans,” Year 5: “Chocolate,” Year 6: “War and Walpole.”

What hobbies do you have outside of school?

I play Basket Ball, bass guitar, reading mystery novels, watching films(Like Avengers Endgame). I also enjoy eating good food, going for runs by the river, and playing card games.

What are your favourite foods?

For breakfast I like sausages, two eggs, avocado, hash browns, carrot juice with ginger. For lunch I like a chicken sandwich with avocado(again) with a side order of sweet potato. For dinner I like Pizza Express. For dessert I enjoy apple crumble with custard or salted caramel cheese cake and salted caramel ice cream.

What is/are your favourite subject(s)?

I like English and mathematics, because English is how we communicate & maths is all around us.

What’s your favourite animal?

My favourite animal is a Siamese cat.

What is/are your favourite colour(s)?

My favourite colours are: dark blue, blue, light blue and turquoise.
