The Summer Reading Challenge has been announced and the them is… Space Chase!
The competition is held in libraries all over the world.
During the summer you can go to the nearest library round you. If you would like to enter tell the librarian you would like to enter and they can set you up. They will hand you a leaflet which has space on the back for you to place your stickers (which will come in handy).
How to starts:
- You choose a book, that is appropriate for you age and desire.
- You need the book and go to the librarian, tell them that you’ve finished. They will give you a sticker to put at the back of your leaflet.
- In total you’ll need to read 6 books.
- When you’ve collected 6 stickers you go to your librarian and tell them you’re finished.
- Next year in assemble your teacher will hand a medal and certificate to you.
Please remember the books you read need to be from the library.
