Chocolate Heaven

At Easter, treats and sweets are galore,

It’s the sugar and chocolate that I so adore.

If you want devour the brown stuff, please look out,

For parents and adults just always find out.

As I open the wrapper, a rich smell fills the air,

“Josh, take your time and remember to share”,

It drifts up my nose like a snake through a pipe,

And when I bite into it, I’m filled with delight.

The taste dances on my tongue and I feel nothing but joy,

The kind of sensation I feel when I see a new toy.

It melts in my mouth so silky and sweet,

Chocolate is heaven and it will never be beat.
