Chocolate Themed Writing Competition

Do you like writing? Do you like chocolate? Would you like to see your writing published on the blog? Then this competition might be for you…

The blogging team have loved sharing their writing with you but we want to see some of you have your work published on the blog. We have set up a competition that will take place every half term, with the first one taking place over the Easter break!

During the Easter Holidays, we would like you to get writing. The theme of the competition is Chocolate and we want to see your writing based around this theme.

To enter you  can type up your entry and email it to info@chasebridge.richmond.sch.uk or write it by hand and give it to Mrs Major in 4M. Please limit all entries to one side of A4 or 500 words. If you have pictures please include them. All entries must be in by Wednesday 24th April.

What can you write about?

We want anything written around the theme of Chocolate. It can be fiction or non-fiction. Here are some ideas to get you inspired:

• A report on how chocolate is made
• A recipe that involves chocolate
• The history of chocolate
• A debate on whether chocolate is good for you or not
• A short story about chocolate
• Book reviews about chocolate themed books

But don’t feel limited, we want to see what you can come up with and for you to be creative with the theme. We can’t wait to read what you write!

Winners will be chosen by the blogging team and the winning piece will be published here on the blog for everyone to read.
