Last week, most of year 4 took a trip after school to see the new Tom Gates show live on stage at Richmond Theatre.
What is it about?
The evening show started at 7pm and finished at 9pm. The show was about a boy called Tom Gates who forgets his homework. In his class, every time you are good you get a smiley face and sad face when you are bad. His class are taking an exciting trip to a biscuit factory but unfortunately you can’t go if you have four sad smiley faces. Tom has four, will he get to go on his class trip?
What did we think?
The show was fantastic, fabulous and funny. We really enjoyed the clever use of the stage and would recommend it to any Tom Gates fans.

When I read the book I liked the part about the doodle wall .
