The Story of the Blue Planet – Book Review

This week children from the Year 4 Battle of the Books group are reviewing The Story of Blue Planet by Andri Snaer Magnason.

What is it about?

This book is about a planet on which children live but one day a spaceship crashes onto the beach. A man comes out from the spaceship and gives them something called butterfly powder and Teflon. These things have magical powers but only in return for their youth. One day two of the children get away… read the book to find out what happens to them.

So what did they think?

I would recommend this book because it was like an adventure book. I think most people would enjoy this.  5/5  Frank 4M

I really liked it because of the adventures and that it only had children in it. I would recommend this book to other readers but I didn’t give it 5 because it’s not my type of book. 4/ 5 Charlotte 4M
