World Book Day Riddles

To celebrate World Book Day we have created some riddles about famous children books. Can you guess what they are? Let us know in the comments and answers will be revealed at the end of the day.

KS1- Riddle 1

This book is about an adventure,

Where two animals one big one small,

Went on an adventure out into the ocean.

What book am I?

KS2 – Riddle 1

I can work out big sums in my head,

My best friend sounds like a flower,

And my teacher is as sweet as honey.

What book am I?

KS1 – Riddle 2

This book is about a girl,

Who went into the forest,

To see her grandma,

But she didn’t know a wolf was following her.

What book am I?

KS2– Riddle 2

This book is about an eight year old boy,

Who got into a lot of mischief,

He even gave his granny a different medicine’

And she grew and grew.

What book am I?

KS1 – Riddle 3

This book is about a tiger,

Who was very hungry,

The tiger ate all the cake,

 And he drank all the tea.

What book am I?

KS2 – Riddle 3

This book is about a girl,

Who loved adventures,

And one day she fell through a rabbit hole,

And nearly lost her head.

What book am I?
