After hearing fantastic speeches from all of the Pupil Parliament candidates, you helped vote to elect two winners. Congratulations to Rhys and Jess.
We have an exclusive interview with our two new Pupil Parliament members about how they are feeling about taking on this new role.
How did you feel?
Rhys- Great! Nervous and worried.
Jess – Just really happy!
What would you say to people who didn’t make Pupil Parliament?
R- Everybody gets a second chance at big things.
J- People can try new things. Maybe other teams likes basketball or school council or for safety officers etc.
What changes do you want to make to the school?
R- I want to help put in place more activities for breaks. I would also like to help manage people moving around in the corridors, perhaps with each class going in one at a time.
J- Help to fix things round the school, starting with the hand dryer in the year 5 and 6 toilets. I would also like to organise the bike racks by having signs for each of the classes.
A big congratulations to our new Pupil Parliament members.
Are there any questions you would like to ask them? Ask them in the comments below.
