On the 11th of February a group of Year 3 and 4 children went to Twickenham School to play a basketball tournament against lots of teams in the Richmond Borough.
As part of the tournament, the team had to play 4 matches which were 16 minutes long. We played Buckingham school and beat them 12-2. Next, we played St Mary’s and St Peter’s Catholic Primary School and won 8-6.

Then we were in the playoffs against Archdeacon but despite working really hard we lost 12-14. To finish the tournament we played St Mary’s School sadly losing 18-22.
The team showed excellent sportsmanship and team work. We came 3rd in the tournament. Well done to the year 3 and 4 Basketball team!
